After passing her viva with no corrections, Katie was recently awarded her PhD, which investigated women’s experiences of Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) from the perspectives of feminism and anti-psychiatry. She is planning a postdoc in women’s experiences of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and is Visiting Lecturer at the University of Birmingham.
